There are two separate services you'll need for a functioning site - a domain name and a website hosting plan for it. If you type the Internet domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that is uploaded within the website hosting account, but if that domain name is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain name is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it can be directed to any other URL of your choice. The benefit of parking a domain is that you can keep it and make sure that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted domain address inside your account. You may also park domain names if you have a .com, for example, and you register domain names with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main web site in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Shared Web Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domain names as you wish with each of the shared web hosting plans that we offer you. Naturally, this feature is provided exclusively for domain names registered with us as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike the majority of service providers, we do not charge anything extra for parking a domain and the process is going to take only a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We have a few parking templates to choose from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a click. Everything required for the site to start showing up, like creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain names you have registered using us and you will be able to set a filter to see just the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our Linux semi-dedicated plans don't have a restriction for the amount of domain addresses that you could park. This feature is available for domain addresses which are registered through us and not ones that are only hosted, due to the fact that this service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really simple and takes a few mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager tool, which you will be able to access using your Hepsia website hosting CP. You'll have a variety of parking templates to pick from and you can add custom text to all of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, and so on. Un-parking a domain is just as easy and what is more, our system is going to set up all the necessary records and it will create a folder within the File Manager section automatically, so you will not need to do a single thing manually.
